Description: Dr. Martin Seligman is a professor of psychology at Penn and the Director of the positive psychology network. My high school used some of his ideas as we went through a national program called Positivity plus. I picked up these books that I’d have more of a background knowledge of what was going on. In Learned Optimism, the author talks about how to change your mind, your attitudes, and the effects that will have on your sense of happiness. This is a Paperback book that has a slight bit of sticker residue on the top left corner of the cover, but there are no pages with turned corners and no problem with the binding or the cover otherwise. In the first 15 pages, there are a few pages that have underlining as seen in the picture attached. I picked up authentic happiness since it was by the same author, but I never did get around reading it. This book has no writing on the inside. No turned pages no damage to the cover or binding. I am a retired teacher/professor and I am looking for a good home for many of the books that I have collected over the years. It would make me happy to know that these have found a place on someone else’s shelf. So for less than 10 bucks, you can take them home with you and give them a new life.
