The 2 bolívar soberano note features the heroine for Venezuelan independence Josefa Camejo. On the back is a perched yellow-crowned parrot in Morrocoy National Park. The 5 note features José Félix Ribas who was a military leader that led youths in the battlefield. On the reverse is an Atelopus cruciger, also known as the Veruga stubfoot toad, from the Valleys of Aragua at Henri Pittier National Park. The Venezuelan Minister of Defense Rafael Urdaneta is on the 10 soberano note. Presented on the back is a giant anteater with the famous Catatumbo lightning from Ciénaga de Juan Manuel National Park. The 20 soberano note once again features Simón Rodriguez with a roaming jaguar depiction from Waraira Repano National Park on the reverse. 50 bolívar soberano notes feature the military leader Antonio José de Sucre, known as the "Grand Marshal of Ayacucho". On the reverse is an oncilla from Medina Beach at Península de Paria National Park. The 100 note features Ezequiel Zamora, leader of the Federalists and on the reverse is a northern spider monkey from Guatopo National Park. The 200 bolívar soberano once more features Francisco de Miranda and two military macaws from Waraira Repano National Park on the reverse.
