Description: Beautiful print of work by renowned Victorian/Edwardian military artist Richard Simkins. Believed original from around turn of 19th/20th Centuries being printed by George Berridge and Company of London (printers and lithographers of children's books and military manuals). This shows the Foresters in a uniform worn by them between 1891 and 1912 (this can be told as they have white cuffs which were introduced in 1881 and abolished in 1912 after great lobbying in favour of returning to their original pre-1881 Lincoln Green cuffs. Dimensions: 35cm by 22cm Very vibrant colours which are not given justice on a computer screen. I understand that a set of many regiments exist but the two I have are identical. Apologies for high postage but they are JUST too big to post as a large letter.
