Inspired by the Imperial Eggs, a set of 6 individually beautiful colored Fabergé Eggs in enamel on a guilloché ground with gold plated swags circling them and with faceted solitaire crystals at their base. Each egg is suspended from a circular gold wire that opens for placing on the stem of a glass to identify each person's glass at a dinner party. The set is presented in a handsome velvet case with each charm suspended individually in the case. The original blue velvet case has some noticeable markings and clasp shows signs of wear but works fine and the contents are presentable. Signature is crisp and clean on the lid by Tatiana Faberge Case measurements: 8 W x 3.5 D x 2 H inches. Provenance: Case inscribed by the great-granddaughter of Peter Carl Fabergé, Tatiana was the daughter of Theodore and Tatiana Fabergé. Born in Geneva in 1930, Tatiana studied jewelry design in Paris during the early 1950s, where she was in close contact with her uncles Eugene and Alexander Fabergé who ran Fabergé & Cie, which traded in, and restored objects made by the House of Fabergé.
