Description: This is the amazing miniature Singer (the cleanest one I've ever seen for it's age) Sewing Machine from the 1920s. Marketed at age 4 girls and above, as a childs toy sewing machine and later on as a real (not toy) portable sewing machine. Either way it was a quality Singer that could sew lovely chain stitch, it was later called a Sewhandy. It uses a short 24x1 needle which has flat shank fitted to the right, so that the needle is threaded from left to right and held in by a screw.
