Description: This listing commemorates the 1992 Cotton Bowl Classic football game between the Texas A&M Aggies and the Florida St. Seminoles played in Dallas, Texas, on New Year's Day in the Cotton Bowl. This officially licensed glass bowl has inscribed two footballs and the notation "Mobil Cotton Bowl Classic 1992" all around the bowl 360 degrees (a total of 4 times). This commemorative bowl measures 4.25 inches in diameter, and as a souvenir would be most fitting for a collegiate football fan, especially either an Aggie or a Seminole. This was set up to be a perfect game, except for one key feature, the rain. The Aggies were the Southwest Conference champions led by their Head Coach R. C. Slocum. And they entered the game 10-1, and undefeated in conference play. The Seminoles were the preseason #1 team, but dropped two consecutive games to Miami and Florida, and entered the game 10-2 under their Head Coach Bobby Bowden. But then there was that rain, which held all the scoring to the first quarter except for 3 points, and caused turnover after turnover throughout the contest. The final score was 10-2, Florida St. Thank you for viewing my EBAY auction item. (Please note: I do not ship internationally.) God bless.
