It is very hard to break Bismuth and get a piece that weighs 2 lbs. You may receive a large chunk with smaller ones or you may receive many small pieces that equal the total weight you purchased. Please note that Bismuth is very brittle, so pieces may break off of larger ones during shipping creating shavings/dust, but we do place the material inside a zip lock bag inside a padded envelope for shipping. Bismuth is an organically-safe substitute for lead. Having similar density to lead but is non-toxic, used to make shot for shotgun shells, fishing lures and low melt alloys.
