Description: From the 1960's this is an aluminum shell Sonor 5x14 snare! Slotted tension rods on top and screws on the bottom. This is in rough shape cosmetically, but still has an amazing tone! It has not been refurbished and is being sold as is. Sonor badge and muffler are missing. The shell used to be a shiny chrome. Seems steel wool was taken to it as it has more of a brushed look now. There's many extra holes as well. Throw off and butt plate have both been replaced with Ludwig parts. Original owner took a Sonor sticker and put it on throw. Throw off is functioning though does catch a little and needs a push when reengaging. There is rust, pitting, and scratches throughout. Heads and wires show wear but have some play left!
