The pattern on the exterior brim just below the slightly larger lip, to help safeguard against chipping, is a warm color palette of yellow, orange, green, red and brown stripes. This is perfect for your Fall table service. This is one of six separate auctions for pieces in this pattern that include the 9 7/8" diam. GRILL dinner plates, cup/saucer sets, extra saucers, 6" by 2 1/4" soup/saland bowls, and less common 8 5/8" by 6 7/8" oval side/small plates/platters and 6 1/2" round bread and butter/side plates. Now I've seen this pattern listed as Autumn Harvest or Harvest on eBay and Pinterest. HOWEVER, this dinnerware came out of restaurant storage with some of it still in the yellow packing/shipping boxes directly from Corning Glass and distributed by Hample Equip. Co., 200 Carroll St., Elmira, N.Y.. THE BOXES ARE CLEARLY MARKED GRECIAN. I had to open the box of saucers whIch was still sealed shut with the metal staples just to check what was in side and it was 48 saucers in this pattern. The two original boxes I have will be sold in separate auctions. This large collection came out of Moretti's restaurant which was located at 800 Hatch Street in Elmira, NY from 1917 until Covid caused it to close its doors in 2020 and the building was torn down in late 2023.
