Description: This souvenir spoon is from the estate of my mother, who was a former antiques dealer as well as an avid collector. The piece is marked “solid silver” with a "G" on the back and measures approximately 6 inches. It weighs 25 grams. The bowl of the spoon features the Palace of Liberal arts while the front stem features busts of Jefferson and Napoleon, a riverboat, conestoga wagon, train and cornucopia. On the back of the stem are the words “St. Louis 1904,” what appears to be an elderly African American man with some kind of fruit or melons below him. It is in great condition. And please check out my sterling souvenir spoons in my listings.Update: I've been told by an eBayer that this spoon is not sterling, but solid German silver, also known as nickel silver, so I have changed the listing accordingly. Shipping is $5 in the continental U.S. No shipping outside the U.S. Since this is a vintage item and described as accurately as possible, no returns allowed. What you see in the photos is what you get. Bid with confidence, I have a 100% feedback rating and would like to keep it that way.
