Description: Spain - 1931 Montserrat Monastery 900th Anniversary 15 Cts Stamp – Mint. This is a very rare 1931 bluish green 15 Cts stamp which commemorates the 900th anniversary of the Montserrat Monastery that is unique in that it has never been out of its original 1931 sleeve, and also carries the Monastery’s genuine stamp. I have tried hard to find this stamp currently available for sale on E-bay globally, or other professional sites that is not part of an expensive set. I have not been able to find one on its own, never mind one that is in such fantastic condition and still housed in its original 1931 sleeve, complete with the Montserrat Monastery’s stamp on the back from when it was issued. This 15 Cts bluish green 1931 stamp is in mint condition and is still as new, never used, and never been out of that extremely rare protective sleeve. As it has never been out of the sleeve, I can only assume that it has its original gum and no hinge marks. Rare stamp in unique packaging makes this one a rare beast indeed and would be a superb addition to any collection or a great gift for that collector who you know.
