Description: This antique British spatterware plate has a hand painted thistle motif on the plate’s interior. Plate is pearlware and in wonderful condition. Plate diameter is 8 1/4 inch. This plate is unique in that it has a molded feather edge rim (see pictures) under the sponged rim. The plate is unmarked, but likely dates to 1820-1840.
