Part # 91049800-RAW Condition New Brand Speedway Motors Sold Set Details Info This Ford 8"/9" rear end Panhard bar is used to control the side-to-side movement of the rear axle underneath the chassis. This is necessary when using a parallel 4-bar or hairpin radius rod style rear suspension. The track bar is threaded on one end for length adjustment and is welded on the opposite end. This will require one end to be unbolted to allow for the length adjustment. The assembly can be adjusted from 19-3/4" to 20-1/2" long. Available in stainless steel with a plain or polished finish. Ordered a Panhard kit for150.00 and had to cut 4" off 18" bar for a total length of 17". Re-taped threads with 5/8-18 SAE tap. I found that you can order the Panhard bar in increments of 1" at a cost of about 70.00 (separate part). Tap cost 28.00 so I went that route, up to you. Every install is different, I hope this helps.
