Description: Spode Lange Lijsen Pitcher Jug Pretty Chinoiserie Pattern that was copied from a Chinese pattern that dates from the K'ang Hsi period, c. 1700-1722. Lanje Lijsen is a Dutch name which can be translated to pretty damsel. Printed mark dates it to circa 1820. Approx 5.5"H X 8"W. Provenance: Flora Rabinovitch Collection Documentation: TCC #5 Condition: Chip to spout, mior hairline to rim, otherwise minor imperfections to be expected.
