The top plastic case that holds the coin appears to be chipped. I have not taken the coins out of the master case. NO RETURNS. This seems like it would be a cool gift for a Marvel collector. I don't know anything about the Excelsior brand, but these are fun to look at. Don't spend retail for high-end brands. Save the landfill...Re-purpose...Recycle...Get outside!
