Description: Selling a Starcaster DeLonge style guitar body made of Ash and Maple. Ash top, maple middle and ash back. Diamond shaped fake sound holes were routed in the body to give the body a semi hollow type of look but the body is NOT a semi hollow. Routed for a single humbucker, a hardtail bridge and a rear ferrule cover. One of the string thru routes on the back of the bottom is out of alignment from the other string routes but the ferrule cover will hide it. Body has a forearm contour and a belly cut. Weight is 4 pounds and 15 ounces. The controls are routed for two volume knobs to let you setup a bass or treble cut in the wiring. The overall size of the body is smaller compared to a Starcaster or DeLonge at just over 13 inches wide and under 16 inches long. The bridge mounting screws were drilled for a larger size screw (#6 one inch wood screw), I will ship three screws with the body. Neck pocket is a bit wider than standard fender width of 2 3/16” which may result in a bit of a ledge for the neck pocket depending on your neck heel. Neck pocket depth is just a bit below 6/8”. The body would make a good project body if you wanted to do some additional mods. For example routing an additional rear toggle switch and cavity route to help with some of the weight. As seen in the pictures the body will need some final sanding to get a smooth scratch free finish. The upper and lower horns could probably use some additional shaping for a smoother feel as they still have some subtle points to them.
