I ordered the grille/radiator shell, grille insert, radiator cap, radiator cap/nose trim, and the porcelain "Ford" emblem, all of which were mfg. by Vintique. The grille insert and nose trim fit perfectly. However, the holes for the insert were not drilled in the unit I received. The holes are easy enough to drill, but it would have been more convenient had they been there. The holes for the hood hinge retainer were also not present. This shell is worthy of a 5 star review with the aforementioned holes drilled. Im sure this was a fluke. Nevertheless, I would still purchase the same item from Speedway. Building a period correct car I didnt want any monkey business going on with the grille because it is a focal point of the car to viewers. I had purchased an original Henry Ford insert, bull-nose, and cap and worried if I didnt find an original shell that I would have fitment issues. Original shells are scarce, so when I had to get moving on the project I decided to give this Speedway stamping a try. I was blown away! Not only did my original insert and other parts fit perfectly, I didnt feel bad trimming it a bit when I had to lower my radiator.
