The cross is not only a testament to faith but also to man's relationship to nature. According to the history, the geometric designs on the arms of the cross tell the story of "Gentle Rain". In Native American culture "Gentle Rain" nourishes the earth so that the sacred corn and crops can grow and nourish all living beings. The center of the cross is a round 11.8 mm turquoise that Native Americans revere and refer to as the "Sky Stone". It is marked 925 and has the Relios Carolyn Pollack hallmark on the back. It is also signed RMT. It measures 1-13/16" long and 1-7/16" wide. The hidden bale opening is 6.4 mm (and of course, it does open). The weight is 14.47 grams.
