Description: Presented is an antique or vintage set of 5 sterling silver dessert or ice cream spoons and a large serving spoon made by Dominick & Haff. This set is in the Charles II pattern, which was patented in 1894. The handles have a beaded edge and is similar to many English Kings, Kings and Queens patterns by other high quality makers. The front of each handle has a monogram of the initials HR. The bowls are done in a lovely shell or ruffled form and the smaller ones have a gold wash. The back of each piece is marked for Dominick & Haff, sterling silver purity, patent 1894 and has a retailer's mark for Bigelow, Kennard & Company. This set is in excellent overall condition for its age. There is some minor surface wear commensurate with age and use. Length: 5 1/2 & 9 inches. Weight: 191 grams.
