Description: A smart Sterling Silver Heavy Salver or small tray on three ball and claw feet with a pie crust rim by James Dixon & Sons hallmarked very clearly in Sheffield 1928. A great sized salver which easily accommodates a decanter as shown. Measuring 6 inch diameter and hallmarked in Sheffield 1928 which is still very clear on the underside along with the stock number 6904 over a 6 for six inch. Plain reeded pie crust rim and three ball and claw feet. Plain and in lovely shiny condition with just tiny scuffs and marks from previous use to the front which are shown in the pictures. There are scuffs and marks from previous use on the rear and light scratches which all go in lines the same way which are shown. Diameter 15 cm , height 2 cm, weight 211.4 grams. REF: CSC 1527
