Description: ORIGINAL ART: 11 1/2 x 15" Laundry Detergent Advertising Storyboard (c.1940's) Black ink on white card stock. The opening panel depicts a woman looking at her laundry, apparently unhappy with the results. Panels 2 & 3 show the same woman discussing the problem and then getting advice about a better laundry soap from a second woman. Finally, panel 4 shows the woman happier now that her laundry is clean. At bottom is a suited man beside a text bubble. He seems prepared to make a sales pitch for the higher quality detergent. The large empty space next to him is presumably reserved for displaying the product. The ad is unfinished and there is no text. It's a wonderful vintage example of how print advertising was created. Undated but probably 1940's. Free Domestic Shipping. All Orders Are Carefully Wrapped and Promptly Shipped. Reasonable Offers Welcome.
