The New Series had a price of 6d, full colour front covers (with some familiar Enid Blyton illustrators like Rene Cloke and Hilda McGavin) and the back cover was half-tone colour, often a cut out project or game. Each magazine had stories, in text or comic-strip style, and b/w illustrations; an occasional puzzle; and regulars like Johnny and Jane, Wuffles, Micky and Molly, Tina the Fairy, Poppet the Pixie, Billy and Bags and Helpful Hattie. * Seller’s Condition rating for vintage and collectable books: *AA down to *BB – cover and pages are mostly clean and unmarked.
