Description: Sweet Annie (Artemisia annua) also known as sweet wormwood, sweet sagewort, annual mugwort or annual wormwood, is a common annual type of wormwood native to temperate Asia, but now naturalized around the world. Sweet Annie is air dried and available in bunches that can be used for dried flower arrangements, wreaths and centerpieces. It comes in two colors: yellow-green and olive green, and has a wonderful aroma. The branches are minimally dried to retain pliability, then stored in large air tight bins to maintain freshness. Each bundle consists of whole branches and weighs approximately 3.5 ounces and are up to 24" in length. The plant part includes the flower, bud, and head, making it a perfect choice for floral crafts. The x-large paper pouches are 9" tall and are filled with individual shorter branches that are under 12 inches. Artemesia annua is organically grown on by me without the use of chemicals or pesticides on a farm in Dartmouth, MA . When I have a supply of this marvelous herb, larger amounts can be purchased for weddings and decorative projects.
