Description: Always kept in a smoke free studio. It was serviced about year ago by Tascam Factory in NJ. It has a few issues. It needs head alignment. Track three is not working but can be repaired when you bring it for service . Original heads are worn but still have some life left. Heads wear on the ends first so there are occasional drop outs when recording on tracks 1 &8. I still found them still usable. Track 7 sounds a little muffled which likely is not a major issue. Cost to align heads and fix track three will range from 350-450 at NJ Tascam Factory Service. The heads can be relapped which make them like new and will restore all tracks. The corners are peeled (see pics)but can be easily cut and painted to match the fake wood color. Comes with take up reel. Pick up only!
