Description: Porcelain Teapot in the INDIAN TREE Pattern by SPODE England. This 4-Cup capacity teapot measures 6" tall including the lid, and 11.25" from spout to handle. Scalloped teapot decorated with an orange-rust floral and geometric iridescent decal design, originally circa 1730. In excellent pre-owned condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The cream-colored inner surface is nicely glazed with no staining. The slight imperfection on this Indian Tree pot is several areas of missing decal (see image), seemingly a manufacturing flaw as these areas are under glaze.
