Description: At BUY IT NOW, you get a nice (physical condition) Tek 067-0587-02 that can be used to calibrate any 7000 series mainframe. These were introduced in 1979 as successors to 067-0587-01 to double the bandwidth so as to handle 1GHz 7104 (predecessor could handle 500MHz 7904). At the price point I'm offering it at (a tiny fraction of Tek's $6000 new price), I cannot include refurb and calibration, but I could if paid an extra $500 on top of BIN. I don't know if eBay will handle offers for > BIN, (can't try it on my own listings), but I will still sell you the added service if you want. You could also send it to a cal lab of your chosing if you'd prefer. Since I have/had several, photos may not be of the one you'll get, but any I would send you will match your generosity. This also means at lowball offers condition may drop from used to for repair. This plugin contains 3 basic sections: a) a stairstep generator to calibrate mainframe gain and centering (see first 2 photos), b) a very fast (150pS) squarewave gen for adjusting mainframe's risetime capability and step response, and c) a sine leveler to be used with an external sine gen or sweeper to check maintrame's bandwidth... This means the external sine gen does not have to have constant amplitude across the spectrum. The advantage of having 2 of these is that you can use their staircase gens to display a crosshatch pattern that makes geometry adjustments easier/more convenient (see 1st photo). The 7904 frame seen in 2 photos is not part of this sale. Ebay now collects sales tax for 45 of the 50 States (eventually may spread to all).
