Description: This is an old 35 mm format manual focus lens with adapter to SONY E mount NEX series or new Alpha series MILC (mirrorless) body. Not a native SONY autofocus lens. 35 mm film camera lens' film coverage is 36 x 24 mm, so called full frame by digital standard. E-mount. Not A-mount. For cameras like A7 A6000 NEX-5 etc. I have fully tested this lens to ensure the functionality. The test photo is taken with this lens mounted on SONY NEX-5 digital. Please confirm you can use this lens. If you are not sure about anything, please ask me. Chinon 55 mm F 1.7 lens SN 396501 M42 universal screw mount, and an M42 adapter to NEX E-mount MILC body.Lens is from 1970's. About 50 years old. Adapter can be removed and used on other M42 mount lens. The following items are included: Lens itself. M42 to NEX E-mount adapter. Rear cap NEX E-mount. Front cap 52 mm.52 mm filter for front end protection. UV, Skylight, Haze, etc. Good usable condition.A soft lens bag. Everything works as it should. Glass is in great shape and cleanliness for a 50 years old lens. No sign of fungus. Focus is smooth and firm. Old school lens feel. Aperture works well. Aperture blade is dry.Externally this lens usage wear here and there but not so much. Overall very good condition. Long time eBay member here. I was a newspaper photographer.
