Thailand Lot of 2 Coins 25 Satang 2500 (1957-87) XF?, 1 Baht 2505 (1962-82) VF?

Description: 25 Satang is 1/4 of a Baht. Dates for Thailand's coins are based upon the Buddhist Calendar. 2500 years is 543 more than the Gregorian Calendar year of 1957. Likewise, 2505 is 543 years longer than 1962. Unfortunately, the Buddhist dates (the only dates on the coin) are so-called "frozen dates." They were kept on the coins for 30 years and 20 years respectively. Thus, you can't know if the golden-colored coin is from 1957 or 1987. Or if the nickel colored coin is from 1962 or 1982. (Or anywhere in-between those ending dates for each coin.) I suppose taking such a long view of history is part of Thai culture, which has a history going back thousands of years. For the reverse of the golden-colored coin (the "mantled arms" side), if you look beneath the central design, you can see 6 figures. The first 2 characters with a period after each one indicates Buddhist Era. The last four are the date. The two ovals at the end are Thai zeroes and the last two digits in 2500. The two figures in the middle of the 6 figures are Thai for 2 and 5. The 2505 on the nickel-colored coin is to the upper right of the "mantled arms" and you can see how the figures are similar to the other coin, and the two Thai versions of "5" have the same shape. The second picture of the two coins together (also the last picture) shows how their color can change when you adjust the light source.
