Styled in the so-called "pure card" format the cards feature a full-color photograph without further design or identification on the front. The backs feature a brief biography, lifetime statistics and vital statistics in the style of the 1953 Bowman baseball series. Each card measures the modern standard of 2-1/2" by 3-1/2". For any collector who fondly remembers baseball in the Fifties, this team set is a must! For the record, Lemon did play briefly for the Indians in 1950 and '53 but is primarily known for his stay at the nation's capital. Like Lemon, Stobbs played for both clubs, the Senators and Red Sox.
