In this work, A.C. Gaebelein provides nearly 3100 pages of analysis and exposition on each book of the scriptures. If you are already familiar with this book, then you are aware of its great reference value. This CD ebook is a treasure trove of information and should be a part of any serious digital Biblical library. About the Author (Courtesy of Wikipedia) Arno Clemens Gaebelein (1861-1945) was a Methodist minister in the United States of America. He was also a teacher and a conference speaker. Being a dispensationalist, he was a developer of the movement in its early days. Two of his books, Revelation, and Analysis and Exposition and Current Events in the Light of the Bible explain the dispenstationalist view of eschatology. He also was the editor of Our Hope, a Christian periodical, for a number of years. A.C. Gaebelein was born in Thuringia (Germany) and came to the United States in 1879. His formal education stopped at the German "gymnasium" (secondary school), but he marshaled a vigorous intellect to learn Greek, Hebrew, Arabic, Syrian, Persian, and several spoken tongues. Converted at age twelve, shortly after his arrival in the United States he underwent a "commitment" experience. When Gaebelein was diverted from a missionary career in Java due to his wife’s ill health, he turned to the evangelization of Jews. Pastorates in Baltimore, Hoboken (New Jersey), and New York City followed his ordination by the Methodist Episcopal church in 1886. He founded the Hope of Israel movement and a Hebrew language magazine, Tigweth Israel (The Hope of Israel Monthly), in 1893. Writing in Hebrew script, Gaebelein personally produced most of the copy. Circulation climbed to five thousand as the magazine reached into Russia and Eastern Europe as well as Jewish enclaves in the United States. Through James Brookes, Gaebelein was brought into the Niagara Bible Conference movement. "The professing church has ignored…the study of unfulfilled prophecy," he wrote in 1930, and to an alleviation of that vacuum he directed the second major part of his career. He was coeditor of the Scofield Reference Bible, a vice-president of the Stony Brook School (which his son, Frank, founded), and a lecturer at Dallas Theological Seminary. Gaebelein considered his greatest published work to be the Annotated Bible, a nine-volume, three-thousand-page survey of the Scripture that took ten years to complete. For more than half a century evangelist, author, journalist, and Bible expositor Arno C. Gaebelein passionately proclaimed the prophetic truths of the Bible and daily lived with the hope of their fulfillment. With a ministry that bridged two centuries and endured two world wars, Gaebelein never doubted the relevance of the study of prophecy for spiritual growth and for interaction with the chaos of culture. In the midst of the thundering storms of World War I, he encouraged Christians not to despair, for the trials of this world would one day give way to the triumph of Christ.
