Description: THE BYRDS released their second compilation album "THE BEST OF THE BYRDS, GREATEST HITS, VOLUME II in October 1971 on Columbia Records. It was primarily aimed at the U.K. and European markets and includes many of the singles released in those territories that were not on their first compilation in 1967. It includes 11 great tracks that are a terrific companion to their first compilation including "The Ballad Of Easy Rider," "Chestnut Mare." and "Jesus Is Just Alright." This is a RARE original 1971 copy of (KC 31795) which TEST PLAYS excellent and is in VERY GOOD + condition with no skips. The cover still does the job but does show significant wear after over 50 years on the shelf. Fortunately, the vinyl is in great shape. Please see the pictures. The Side One dead wax is etched P AL-31795-1K COLUMBIA NY A2. It was mastered at Customatrix in NYC and this copy was pressed by Columbia Records. This album will come with a high quality ANTI-STATIC ROUND BOTTOM INNER SLEEVE and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene ARCHIVAL QUALITY OUTER SLEEVE.
