It contains Beowulf, The Song of Roland, The Destruction of Da Derga's Hostel, The Story of the Volsungs, and Niblungs. It's part of the Harvard Classics 50 Volume series, this being the 49th volume. This edition was printed in 1910 by Collier Press. The book's pages have yellowing from age, but no foxing, missing, or torn pages. A few pages have been dog eared but since flattened out. Shelf wear is visible along the edges and corners. Originally, the top edges of the pages had a gold gilding, but it has since faded somewhat. The spine remains intact, however there is a thin crack visible on the first few pages (pictured.) The corners of the covers have also chipped mildly.
