Description: First American edition hardcover copy of The Pure Theory of Capital by Friedrich A. Hayek (University of Chicago Press, 1950). A reprint of the UK edition, published in 1941. Very hard to find economics / business / sociology / philosophy book. Jacket protected in new archival sleeve but with with rubbing/scuffing to faces and shelf wear around the edges. Small stained area towards bottom right corner of back cover. Chipping, creases and small tears around jacket edges. Boards are straight and clean but with corners bumped. Binding is faintly split in a few gutters but spine is straight and binding remains strong on the whole. A few pages creased at fore edge, causing them to sit a bit uneven from rest of text block (see last photo), otherwise all pages clean and unmarked though tanned. See photos for condition.
