He was a life member of the NRA and served as president of the NRA from 1990-1992.He was founding president of Daniel Boone Club, member of the N.H. State Rifle and Pistol Association, Ducks Unlimited, Wild Turkey Federation, N.H. Waterfowl Association, president of Gun Owners of N.H., consultant to the N.E. State Police Chief Committee on Uniform Firearm Laws 1962-1963, N.H. state senator, 1964-1968, and a five-year term on the N.H. Fish and Game Commission. He was recognized as Hooksett's 1976 Citizen of the Year, 1980 Business Man of the Year and was founding president of the Hooksett Chamber of Commerce. He served as town selectman, moderator and on the budget committee. Quite a guy! The book shows some light wear around the edges while inside; the binding and pages are completely sound and perfect.
