This piece has been tested and works as it should. It has a nice looking face and rear panel. The rack ears are not bent. The top has some rack rash from being rack mounted. It retailed for over $3000 new. Please read technical details below: DESCRIPTION FEATURESThe DACsys II DX-0808 is an 8-by-8, digitally controlled,analog audio matrix. It is designed to provide highly flexiblerouting, mixing, distribution and level control of audiosignals for a wide variety of applications including divisiblehotel banquet/meeting rooms, performing arts centers,houses of worship, sports facilities, theaters, and recording/production studios. The TOA DX-0808 is a full mixingmatrix: any input or combination of inputs can be mixed androuted to any output or combination of outputs. A singleDX-0808 provides eight inputs that are assigned to eightinput mixing buses using a 64 point switching matrix. Eachof the input mixing buses is assigned to eight output mixingbuses through a 64 point level control matrix. The eightoutput buses feed the eight outputs. Units may be linkedtogether in groups (max 4 per group) to provide additionalinputs and outputs to the 8 x 8 bus structure. Each unit, ora system comprised of up to 30 units, is digitally controlledusing an intuitive, user friendly, graphic PC interface. Thesoftware allows easy access and changes to the matrixconfiguration to meet almost any system requirement. Inaddition it provides off-line editing and data file storage ofset up commands, which can be easily downloaded toeach device in a system. Different mixing bus assignmentsand level settings can also be easily stored in and recalledfrom each device’s 16 non-volatile memories.The hardware is highly space efficient and is designed toprevent any unauthorized changes to the processing viamultiple levels of security.
