This set of used parts are in great condition, and come packaged in the broken front half of Troy-Bilt tiller transmission case that broke where the steel pipe came loose, as so many of the ones made at this time were prone to. All the gears will fit any Horse model rototiller, even the much newer PTO horse models. This item has the older clutch fork with shifting fork shoes vs. the stronger, newer steel shifting pin system; we recommend using the latter arrangement if the tiller you are fixing happens to have that newer system. This package #2 TWO DOES NOT INCLUDE THE WHEEL SHAFT!!It does, however, include the following goodies: Shifting Fork and Shoes**:1094 shoes1016 fork1027A eccentric shaft1041 fork shaft9603 O ringsThis might also include part 1029 shifting lever, but only if you message us that you need that part included too. *Though 9404 bearings are included, you might want to buy a new set just to be safe just because we didn't take them out and inspect them and new ones aren't very expensive. [Fun fact - over hundreds of repair jobs and transmission rebuilds at Dad's dealership, not one single set of pinion shaft bearings part # 9404, ever actually failed! They happen to be in a low-force position in the power drive train gearing down the slow-moving wheel shaft so there's just not much force on it.] **Most of the Shifting parts have since been replaced with different part numbers. ***Adjust the gasket thickness for proper shimming so there's no side play on tiller shaft. In some cases, the gaskets might shrink a little, especially the 5-hole tiller housing cover gaskets, so you'll need to dampen them just enough so they fit over the 5-hole tiller housing cover just right.
