Description: I was fortunate enough to visit an old North Carolina textile mill that has been closed for decades.Although there was fabric and notions, there were also overstocked items from years gone by....from the 1940s to the early '70s. This sweater vest was in the original plastic wrap, but the plastic was in very poor disintegration state, so I discarded it.The sweater is brand new, pristine condition. There isn't a tag that states what it's made of, but it feels so nice and "flowy" with a great weight to it. I got two of them and my teen daughter LOVES it, so I might allow her to keep one (haven't decided yet). The brand is IMAGE EAR by rollins. Made in USA. The mill manufactured for the healthcare industry and the airline industry back in the 1940s through about the 1960s (based on the receipts and manufacturing information I found when digging). It is a size small. I have used a yard stick so you can see the measurements lying flat. I love finding pristine vintage clothes, but this was a thrill to find these vintage pieces in original packaging. Makes me appreciate that they overstocked some items and they were perfectly preserved for us to enjoy.
