Description: Claim a piece of watch history with this Tudor Oyster Date ref 7962 "Big Rose". The vintage rose emblem is highly sought after by collectors as there are only a handful of these examples in circulation from the 1950s and 1960s before the logo was transitioned to the modern shield seen today. This watch was created in a time when Rolex and Tudor worked closely together - so close in fact that the only non Rolex component of this watch is the movement. The case and crown are Rolex's patented Oyster Case that is still in production to this day on their modern models. The watch is 34mm and boasts Tudor's ultra reliable "Shock Resistant" manual-winding calibre 2403 movement (21 jewels and a BPH of 18,800). Pictured is the actual watch with case back removed. Only the watch is included, it is in great shape and keeps time well so long as you manually wind it everyday. The strap is beginning to wear and may soon need to be replaced.
