Signed MMS The silver work is ornate, detailed and well done. It depicts a roadrunner or similar bird in a lovely southwestern desert landscape scene with mountains in the background. This epic scene is accentuated by multiple consecutive engraved sterling silver surround ring boarders in various complimenting patterns engraved in the sterling and punctuated by a thick vibrant tailored crushed inlaid turquoise stone border. The brooch is in excellent vintage condition. It has been hand polished and is ready to wear or gift wrap. As the brooch is exposed to air with time, tarnish will settle in the fine engraved lines to give further definition to the ornate and detailed designs. It is a large brooch, it measures approximately 2.5 inches in diameter. It has a fixed bale so it can be worn as a pendant on a necklace or chain. The cumulative effect of these detailed and ornate consecutive boarders is to create a truly breathtaking brooch. The brooch is hallmarked and signed.
