Description: Ukraine War Captured Salty Russian Army / DPR Ushanka Winter Hat Very worn example of an older style ushanka currently issued to both the Russian army as well as separatist and mobilized forces. These serve as an alternative to the more commonly seen EMR camouflage ushankas and appear to be used more by garrison or rear units. The tag indicates manufacture in February of 2021 by the government contractor of Voentorg. The front badge has been removed by the soldier most likely for camouflage purposes, but the outline of it on the front is still very clear. The fur has seen a lot of field use, but remains supple and intact. There is heavy deterioration in the lining, possibly from the elements. Both tie strings from the ear flaps are missing as well, although they should stay folded on their own. Very worn appearance with every indicator of a find directly from the frontlines and a completely authentic ushanka from the war. Reasonable offers are more than welcome.
