All of them!.. Eternal memory to everyone who died for Ukraine!" said the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The postal issue "Minute of Silence," which Ukrposhta presents on the occasion of the Day of Remembrance of the Fallen Defenders of Ukraine, reproduces the works of Donetsk artist Sergiy Maidukov "Marsove Pole (Field of Mars). Lviv" (2023) and "Memorial on Maidan Nezalezhnosti. Kyiv" (2024). Since the beginning of the large-scale war, blue and yellow flags have been flying in the cemeteries of all Ukrainian cities and villages, on the graves of fallen heroes, reminding us, who are still alive, about the price of every moment lived in the unconquered country at war. The emotional issue is complemented by a poem "And horror, and blood, and death, and despair" written by the prominent Ukrainian poet Lina Kostenko back in 2014. The poem is translated by Jaroslava Francesca Barbieri (June 30, 2024).The postage set includes a sheet “Minute of silence” and сover “First Day”. Each stamp in the sheet contains 5 UAH of charity.
