The measurements are while the item is flat as in the main picture. In most instances, if the item is paid for by 12:00 noon it will ship the same day Monday-Friday. To help dissipate the smell, cleaning with 97% alcohol or spraying items with 1/2 vinegar & 1/2 water, then put the item in the sun until the smell is gone. Items that can be washed will require several washings. Vintage items may have irregularities in the glass. Such as Bubbles or mold marks. Colors will vary with different settings. My items are stored in my open basement. SMOKE-FREE HOME. I have long hair. Although I keep my hair up in a clip, a hair might end up in a box. I'm sorry if this should happen. I do try to prevent this. But it can happen. In the case of a return, the item must be in original condition. If you simply changed your mind about wanting the item buyer pays return shipping and I cannot refund original shipping amount so be sure you want the item. Check pictures.
