Description: UNIMAT DB, Headstock, Tailstock, Bed & Carriage Slide Assembly. Made in Austria, Vintage, around year 1960. This is the first black label version of the Unimat DB 200 lathe that was partnered with American Edelstaal (AE) for distribution in the USA, although the lathes were still made in Austria. The companies changed to a black label and knob style from the tear drop handled version to the more common steel version we see today. The handle hex cap nut is still a larger size than the more modern smaller size hex nut, please see pictures. Performed & passed a bore alignment, headstock bed perpendicular & 90 degree tests, please see pictures and ask any questions. Why bother purchasing the major Unimat lathe individual components like the headstock, slide and bed that;- may or may not fit- avoid no return arguments- avoid parts that just don't work together This lathe has been a set since 1960 according to the receipt with the lathe. The lathe was cleaned, setup & inspected and tested for accuracy & run-out. All parts are look like new.
