Description: You are buying an Unusual Vintage Chinese Yixing Zisha Purple Clay Squash Shape Teapot that was purchased in Shanghai 20+ years ago. It is in excellent condition except for a hardly noticeable slight chip on the teapot inside rim and has embosed signed markings on the bottom of the teapot and on the underside of the lid (see actual photos). Please note the cute whimisical hand painted accents. It doesn't appear to have ever been used and I have only used it as a display item in a non-smoking / non-pet environment. The teapot has a 10 ounce capacity and measures approximately 3 ½" high to top of lid and 6 ¾" at widest point from handle to spout and weighs 10.1 ounces. You will love it.
