Description: Listed here is the US Army Third Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) Honor Guard Full Color Blue and White Tab patch insignia. The US Army Third Infantry Regiment is also known as the Old Guard is the oldest currently active duty regiment in the US Army since 1784. The 3rd Infantry Regiment is the US Army official ceremonial unit since 1948 which is why these tabs were created and issued. The color of these tabs are ultramarine blue for the background and white for the lettering. These tabs are new in their original box and they were never issued or used. These tabs would male a great addition to any militaria collection or can be used on the uniforms of US Army active duty, reserve, or National Guard authorized to wear them. These tabs were found in my travels and are now being brought to the wide world with this eBay listing.
