The USPS contracted the Bureau of Engraving and Printing to produce their cards, which are smaller than those issued by the BEP and typically feature enlarged postage stamp designs. The majority of PS cards were issued at international philatelic exhibitions, often with the text in the language of the host country. The USPS suspended their souvenir card program in 1992.
