Description: This is an original issue (#10) of Utne Reader for the June and July of 1985, featuring articles on disarmament and 17 directions toward world peace, yuppies, Central America, U2, child sexual abuse, and Ralph Nader. One of the "in brief" articles, shown in my 4th photo, discusses Bernie Sanders as the socialist mayor of Burlington, Vermont. Overall, this journal is in good condition--a great copy for reading, with the only noticeable flaw being a partially torn-away mailing label on the front cover. Otherwise, the covers have only light wear. The pages are clean, crisp, and strongly-bound, and I found no marking or writing anywhere in the issue.
