Description: This is a fantastic Extremly Rare Museum Watch trench type from Soviet Trest of Exact Mechnic (Tochmech) 1920s based on High Grade Very Thin Hy Moser movement. - This watch is a part of history in this view and it have Early Soviet Propaganda inscription on the dial. Inscription on the dial reads "All power to the Soviets!", it is rather famous Soviet slogan of that times and it is inscripted with the one old letter which doesn't more exist in modern cirilyc alfabet. I provide additional photo of 1967 poster (50y Anniversary of October Revolution) just for illustrate early correct type of inscription. Similar inscriptions rarely could be met in 1980s on Anniversary Molnija watches but slogan there is inscripted by modern alfabet and inscription little bit differs. - Gostrest Tochmekh is the bigest state watch artel of Soviet Union in 1920s, it was ordered original Swiss watch for Soviet union from 1924 until 1930, and remade some watches which lost gold cases in WWI. They fabricaly made cases for each type of the movement available and as you can see here the watch case is fitted perfectly just because it is made for exactly this caliber in far 1920s. Watch technologies after WWI in Soviet Union wasn't perfect at all and we can see that nickel surfase on the brass case exist only on some places. The aluminum dial is cut ugly, this is the result of the fact that the simplest work was entrusted to apprentices and not the best workers. Dial is fixed on screws as doesn't have legs. - Manual winding H Moser High Grade Movement on 15 Jewels. H Moser was very popular brand in Soviet Union in 1920s. Vladimir Ilyich Lenin used fabric H-y Mosers pocket and a wrist one. Gostrest Tochmekh in 1924-1930s also ordered some H Mosers watches in 1920s for self Gostrest Pocket watches. But this watch is converted by Tochmekh, not ordered in ready view, it is visible by how it made. - Chromed Thin Brass Case 45 mm Diameter excluding crown. 15 mm wide lugs.
