The Valley of the 1970s was reknown for the varied and colorful paint schemes on its fleet of Alco, EMD and GE locomotives, and few railroads could offer its variety of motive power. Locomotives seen include Fs, GPs, RS3s, SW8s, GP38s, U23Bs, C420s, C628s, and a brief look at the Delaware and Hudson Sharks used between Binghamton and Sayre.
