Description: Vintage brown wool felt hat signed 1817 Wegener. There are labels and printing in German inside the hat. Outside has a brown braided trim around the crown. There is a feather trim on the side along with a metal stag pin that reads, "Berchtesgaden." Inside has a thin leather band around the opening. The crown is lined in a light brown or tan satin. The opening measures 22 1/4 inches. The crown stands 5 1/2 inches high and the brim measures 2 inches wide. The hat is very well made. Condition is GOOD.
